The Early Education Funded Hours initiative
We’re pleased to participate in the Government Early Education Funded Hours programme by offering some places to children for 15 or 30 hrs of funded childcare each week. This is a Government initiative towards your childcare bill providing you meet the government conditions.
You can further reduce your monthly childcare bill by creating an online childcare account where you may qualify for a further tax-free childcare allowance.
The Government stipulate the minimum number of days the full week funded entitlement can be taken across is 2 days for 15 hours or 3 days for children eligible for 30 hours.
The funded hours can be used any day from Monday to Sunday to a maximum of 10 hours in any day
The Early Years Funded hours of 15 or 30 hours per week covers the cost of providing education only.
It does not cover the cost of essentials for activities or consumables the nursery provides in order to deliver the education element (funded hours). Your invoice will show the cost of the education element (funded hours) that we claim from Staffordshire County Council on your behalf with your eligibility code. We will state the weekly cost of the chargeable essentials that you will need to pay on your invoice.
